In chapter two the things I learned about that I will remember the most are the seven regions of Washington. What I learned is that each region has charactoristics that make it unique, such as the flora and fauna factors or the land type that the region is located in. This is important because it is good to know what region you live in, whether you need the information or not.
In chapter three the thing I’ll remember most is learning about Coastal and Plateau indians. What I learned is how the animal carving at the top of a totem pole shows what tribe lives in the building behind the totem pole, that the differences between the two types of indians vary from how groups are separated to the politics of the indians. This is important because most of what we know currently and what we are still learning come from the ideas that originated in the Coastal and Plateau indians’ tribes and bands.
